sōlo styling: bodysuit

Posted by Alicia Superina on

Introducing our signature sōlo bodysuits and the inspiration behind our name sōlo. The bodysuits were the foundation of the brand and ultimately consist of one garment (‘solo’ referring to ‘one’ or ‘one piece’). We know how irritating it is to have to constantly tuck your top into your leggings at the start of any horizontal sequence, whether it’s mountain climbers or a pike on the reformer. How much easier would it be to move between positions and master your form in a bodysuit? We heard you loud and clear and we’ve got you covered: the sōlo bodysuit is here. Less time altering and more time sweating ladies!

The great news is, bodysuits aren’t just perfect for Pilates, they’re actually ideal for any form of cardio, HIIT or yoga. But most importantly, they give your figure a serious compliment in and out of the studio.

So, let’s style it up!

With the Vertebra Tank

The sōlo bodysuits are designed to allow for a tank to be worn over the top and seamlessly slide into the tuck point at the hips. This look gives you a bit more coverage up top without losing the definition of your waist, all while elongating those legs.

Chambray Shirt

For the ultimate off-duty look, pair your bodysuit with a chambray shirt or denim jacket to take your bodysuit from studio to street. Style over your shoulders, around your waist or tied at the front to mix up your look.

Plain Tee

Layering a simple tee with your bodysuit gives you another fresh look. Pairing an oversized tee and tying it up at the front or utilising the tuck point will keep the definition of your waist pre- or post-sweat.

Chunky Knit

The perfect throw-over for any outfit, but especially for your bodysuit. Pre-studio style just got an upgrade! Don't cover up your silhouette with a daggy hoodie, getting up at the crack of dawn can still be effortlessly styled.
